13/3/21
When developing and trialing my “Trifecta with a Twist” system, because of the threat from Favourites destroying a decent payout, I concluded that only a FOOL would utilise all Probable Combinations on one race.
Well, today, I became that FOOL!
Trenthem , Ellersley and The Valley, Australia.
Trenthem:
Race 1, 3 longshots to Win $1 each, 2 fails, 1 success = $12.00
Race 2, 2 longshots to Win $1 each, 1 fail, 1 refund
Race 3, 2 longshots to Win $1 each, both fails.
Next:
Two Trifectas with a twist but, going against my own rule, only a fool would bet using all one in eight probable combinations.
Race 5, 8 combinations culminating in 6, 48 sub combos and 2, 24 sub combos.
10% total Stake = $33.60
Result:
First equal on 2 combos for a return of $17.10 ($9.05 + $8.05)
Race 6, back to 1 combo at 10% Stake = $4.80, fail.
Ellersley:
Race 6, 8 probable combos at 10% =$33.60
All Bookies Favourites come in, in correct order.
Return = 0.60 cents
“FOOLS AND HORSES”
Race 7, back to 1 combo at 10% Stake = $4.80, fail
Finally:
The Valley, Aussie
1 combo at 10% Stake =$4.80
Success. paying $29.50
Starting Bankroll = $190
End of betting = $161
